On 9 October 2025, BAGS Ground Services had the honor of welcoming Etihad Airways on its inaugural flight to Krabi International Airport, marking the launch of a new connection between Krabi and Abu Dhabi.

Operating six times weekly (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with the Airbus A321LR aircraft, this new service enhances connectivity between southern Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
As the ground handling service provider for Etihad Airways at Krabi International Airport, BAGS Ground Services is proud to support the airline’s operations and ensure a smooth and efficient travel experience for passengers.
The welcoming ceremony was graced by H.E. Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mr. Ratthasart Chidchoo, Governor of Krabi Province, and airport officials, who joined to welcome passengers and celebrate Etihad Airways’ inaugural flight.
All dignitaries expressed their hopes that this new international service will help boost Thailand’s economy and strengthen its tourism industry, creating new opportunities for travel and investment in the southern region.
