Thailand's Aviation Ascendancy: BAGS Ground Services Team Joins 'Air-mazing Thailand' FAM Trip
BAGS Ground Services team recently participated in the 'Air-mazing Thailand: The Amazing Airline FAM trip' project. This initiative, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), underscores their commitment to bolstering Thailand's status as a premier aviation hub in the Asia-Pacific region.
Speaking on behalf of TAT, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the TAT Governor, emphasized the pivotal role of convenient air access in fueling Thailand's vibrant tourism industry. She highlighted the mission to foster tourism growth, aligning with the Partnership 360 strategy. Through collaborative efforts with aviation authorities and airlines, the aim is to elevate flight capacity to meet ambitious targets of 35 million international visitors and 1.92 trillion Baht in revenue this year.

The program, scheduled from 2-5 April, is a joint endeavor with local and international aviation entities. It features a diverse itinerary, including the Air-mazing Thailand Reception and Presentation in Bangkok, airport inspections, and the Air-mazing Thailand Workshop and Networking event.
During the Air-mazing Reception and Presentation, key stakeholders from various organizations, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, Airports of Thailand, and the International Air Transportation Association, highlighted Thailand's robust airport network, investments in aviation infrastructure, and stringent security measures. This event facilitated meaningful interactions with representatives from 22 airlines, emphasizing the connectivity offered by Suvarnabhumi Airport to both domestic and international destinations.

The FAM trip showcases routes that spotlight Suvarnabhumi Airport's pivotal role in linking major cities and secondary destinations across Thailand. Itineraries include visits to key airports such as U-Tapao Rayong-Pattaya International Airport, Chiang Mai Airport, Krabi Airport, and Surat Thani Airport, as well as exploration of local attractions.
Concluding with the Air-mazing Thailand Workshop and Networking event in Bangkok, this project underscores TAT's proactive approach to promoting travel to diverse destinations through strategic marketing initiatives targeting long-haul markets.
