BAGS Ground Services proudly welcomed Belavia Belarusian Airlines on the occasion of its inaugural charter flight operating between Minsk National Airport (MSQ), Republic of Belarus, and U-Tapao International Airport (UTP), Rayong–Pattaya, Thailand.
The inaugural charter service, operated by an Airbus A330-200, marks an important milestone in strengthening air connectivity between Eastern Europe and Thailand, while supporting tourism development and international aviation cooperation.
BAGS Ground Services is honored to be appointed as the ground handling service provider for Belavia Belarusian Airlines at U-Tapao International Airport. This partnership reflects BAGS’ commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and internationally compliant ground handling services, supporting seamless airline operations and an enhanced passenger experience.
The inaugural flight ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including:
- H.E. Vladimir Borovikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Thailand
- Admiral Arpa Chapanon, Director of U-Tapao International Airport
- Mr. Vladimir Bakun, Deputy Director General & Chief Commercial Officer, Belavia Belarusian Airlines
- Representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, as well as hotel operators and key stakeholders from the tourism and travel industries
Their presence underscored the significance of this new charter route in promoting bilateral tourism, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange between Belarus and Thailand.
